Mothlight Privacy Policy

Effective 24 October 2026

Mothlight is a game for Android made by Canvider (“we”). This policy explains what data the game handles and why. If you have a question, write to info@canvider.com.

In short: we don’t collect any personal data ourselves. There are no accounts, and your progress stays on your phone. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some data to show them, as described below.

What stays on your phone

The game saves your progress on your device: levels and stars, fireflies, the moths you have unlocked, your best score and your sound setting. It is never sent to us. If you use Android’s device backup, Android may include it in the backup to your Google account. Uninstalling the game deletes it from your phone.

Ads

Mothlight is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: banners on some menu screens, full-screen ads between some plays, and optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward. To show and measure these ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares with Google:

Google uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. It is encrypted in transit. You can read how Google uses it in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Permissions

The game uses the internet only to load ads; you can play without a connection. It uses vibration for the small taps you feel while playing, and you can turn it off with the game’s sound button.

Children

Mothlight is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
